I have a 4 year old Satellite 1135-s155 with 2x256mb RAM modules installed by default. I am wondering if I can install new RAM modules in there to bring it up to 1GB RAM. Would a 200pin 512mb DDR2 PC-5400 SODIMM RAM module work in this laptop?

On my laptop's spec sheet, it says "512MB (2 DIMM) expandable to 1024MB; SODIMM expansion. 256mb PC2100 DDR SDRAM, 2.5V."

You can't use DDR 2 ram as the original ram is DDR.

The pins will be different, so the ram will not be able to fit into the slot
