Apologies if this post is in the wrong area or something...I am new to this but have a problem that I am hoping someone might answer.
My the mouse on my wife's toshiba satellite (not sure what model it is) has stopped working, and I have no idea how to get it going again. The problem occured when we plugged a digital projector into the laptop as well as a usb stick with the aim of playing a video on the usb, across the projector. The mouse simply stopped workinging at some point when these objects were plugged in.
Does ayone have any advice or experience?

it may be equipped with a touchpad disable button, is there a small button below the spacebar on the keyboard? if there is, press it once when in windows and see what happens :)

Legend! It wasn't below the space bar, on this computer it was FN+F9, I completely didn't realise it was there. Thankyou! Very helpful and quick problem solved!
