Hey,
Somehow, someway my MySafe is gone. It doesnt show up in the biomenu or anything.
I have the P105-S9312. Is there a way to reinstall MySafe? I've tried reinstalling the Protector Suite QL, but MySafe never came back.

Did you ever sort this out? It's happened to me on my brand new Toshiba Satellite - just gone. Which would be OK (AFAIK I never used it) except for the regular annoying error messages that some kernel driver can't open MySafe ...

Hmmm......I have the same laptop as the OP and MySafe is right where I left it. Hidden from the world but it is still accessible. Sounds like a little research time.

I was unlcear - MySafe isn't "gone" - it's visible on the Desktop - it's just unopenable
... at least, the "My Safe kernel driver" won't open according to the "Fingerprint Software Error" dialog box.
So the question is, how to reinstall/reenable (or even *identify*) that driver. -
GUYS MINE IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just noticed! i installed bios 2.40 cause it solves the 7900go stuttering problem in vista. All my pics are still in there haha! -
I had the same problem not being able to access MY SAFE.
I run norton 360 and it was not the problem.
The repair came by doing the following::
go to add/remove programs
then clicking on protector suite ---
then click change
then click repair
then reboot your PC
and damn I was able to get back into my safe!!
