    Looking to spend around $ 2,500 or less on a good laptop, need ideas. Not worried about overclocking as this will be my entertainment at work for such as videos and game playing.

    Wondering if Toshiba's X305-Q706 laptop has the same problem with the motherboard/charging problem as the older units. I have 2 older Satellite p25-s507's and they both broke at the exact same spot. Seems like the motherboard cracks around the plug in which does not allow to charge the system. I have tried to take apart both of them and now i have pieces all over the place. I did some research and seen lot of other people having problems with the cracked motherboard. (so it not from something i did)

    I am thinking about getting a new Toshiba's X305-Q706 this week so would like to see if anyone has had this problem before or is there a better laptop i can get that has to have 17" screen , lot of graphic ram,.

    Want it to last a few years. My P25-s507 lasted about 6 or 7 years (only has 32video ram ) lol it kills me. I could not play games. When i build my quad core desktop with 3 g-force 9800 video cards it can play every game possible . GTA4 , Scared, everything plays at max settings and never seen my system processor get used up half way.

    Well, I didin't like the quality of their product. No Driver update, Offical BIOS update locked my BIOS so I was not able to enter setup for a while. No support over E-mail (Well, we have NBR :rolleyes:)....

    You are lucky :D I have postet Crysis benchmarks before link;
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=388651&page=3

    Well it was postet becouse of driver test, and you will see two diffrent results...

    Also the bios is "locked" so I can't edit voltage on GPU or CPU to overclock for better results... :mad:
    NOTE: The overclock valuves in sig was not used!

    I changed my HDD with SSD yesterday. This thing is much faster now, aslo my temps has gone down. Also at GPU...
    I have written my max temp there. It was with HDD...
