Okay, so I have a Toshiba Satellite L25-1192, and I wanted to buy another RAM upgrade, as they've been dropping in price lately, and my computer had started lagging a bit. Stock, the L25 has 256 MB of RAM. A couple years ago, I put a 512 MB RAM chip in (bringing the total to 768 MB). This time around, I bought a 1 GB, and took out the 256. So now, I SHOULD have 1.5 GB of RAM. But, my computer only shows me having 896 MB.

On CPU-Z, it shows I have 1.5 GB, the correct amount, a 1 GB, and a 512 MB.

Tech support told me to download the latest BIOS updates. I've run BIOS updates twice, and the problem still hasn't been fixed.

    Can anyone help?
