After looking into Overclocking, I noticed that a lot of people were using AMD Catalyst Control Center to set their CPU performance to 100% before using K10STAT... (apparently the performance is pretty shotty without using Control Center)

Apparently there is no performance tab or option to control the CPU with the Toshiba version of Catalyst... at least the one I downloaded: AMD VISION Engine Control Center

I tried to download Catalyst directly from AMD's website and it says that there is incompatible hardware / software. I just upgraded from an A4-3300M to an A8-3500M today and wanted to see what it was made of. Since the official AMD version did't work, I had to find another Toshiba that came with an A8 stock and download the display driver.

Anybody out there with an A8-3XXXM in a Toshiba that doesn't have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it? Post your model or a link to the driver if you're not having the same problem so I can download it...

TL;DR AMD Control Center has no CPU control and I wanna overclock my A8.

R.I.P. Thread - Thanks to everyone for the overwhelming response.

Updating AMD/ATI Graphics Driver on Toshiba, Sony, or Lenovo Laptops To Newest Version - YouTube

This works for anyone with an OEM version (Sony, Toshiba, Asus, Lenovo) of Catalyst who wants the AMD version for updates / performance.

It took hours to find, and the fix was all to simple to do.

All you have to do is install Windows' Standard Graphics Driver and then Install AMD's version. Otherwise, you'll get the hardware / software error message.

Glad you were able to fix it. +rep for the good info

I wish I could have helped but I have no idea how the LLano APUs function with O/C`ing and drivers.
