hey guys, i just got a M45-S355 from my brother, it had been sitting up in his closet for over a year, well it needed a new screen and it needed to be charged something desperate. well i got a new screen and i let it sit on a charger for a while. when i went to go turn it on, when i first push the power button, it lights up in an orange color, then turns off. then the button will light back up in a blue color, and i can hear the computer trying to turn on but then it stops and the power goes back off. im not computer inclined (i work on cars), so i really dont know whats going on with it, and any help would be appreciated. thanks guys

    Hello
My question for you is, and I'm not trying to sound like a wise guy, but are you sure it worked in the first place?

my brother said it was working after he fixed it for a guy, the guy just never paid him for it. he was telling me the BIOS needed to be re-flashed or something like that

I've heard the term "flash and tattooed" you may want to check this site.
    http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=1605

You may end up having to take it in as this is an advanced procedure.
But this very well may be your problem.
    Hope this helps.
