I bought a Toshiba Satellite A205 from Fry's a few months ago for the bargain price of $450 bucks which came pre-installed with Vista. I would like to load Ubuntu on it but it did not come with any sort of recovery CD or any CD for that matter.

I have searched all over there site on how I can create one and there are no instructions at all.

I could try some ghost program but I am not sure how that would work with licensing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Ghost or Acronis would work. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything about the recovery CDs since there are licensing issues with sharing them...you can ask Toshiba if they would be willing to sell (probably $20) the discs to you.
