    Been a long time. Im an ASUS guy so I don't know where to look for reliable information and parts for Toshiba. Maybe someone around here knows.

    Cracked screen on a C855D-S5307. Came up with 3 results on google. Its the Glossy screen and I do believe they were all 1366x768 LED backlit. One result mentioned its the same part as the S5305.

    I know on my ASUS people had an exact part number not sure if that resource is available.

    Can you use Everest Home Edition or something like that to figure out what the model of the screen is?

    Absolutely any 15.6 LED backlight screen will work with this one. I have replaced screens in these laptops from all sorts of manufacturers, LG, Samsung, AU Optronics, Chunghwa etc. from Ebay, they all work. Dont know why, but I have replaced screens between all sorts of toshiba models that take a 15.6" LED screen and they all seem to work just fine, not a single problem to report.
