    Need some new Drivers

    I need the Drivers for the other device - Biometric Coprocessor and Ethernet Controller.

    Have you checked the Toshiba website? They are usually good about updating drivers. Did you install XP on your computer?

    yes I did install XP but Iam not sure what drivers I need Ive tried a few but I cant find these the most important is the EtherNet so I can get online and register my XP with in 30 days..

    I was thinking about going back to Vista but the reinstall has me worried..

    One other thing since i cant get online with my laptop Ive been trying to find the right drivers on my desktop and then transfer them with a CDRW but sometimes the laptop does not recognize the files and sometimes it will...

    It may be a good idea for the time being to go back to Vista using the original system disks so you can get the computer registered. That's most important. The clean install of XP can be tricky from what I read from others on this forum, but it is worth it once you get all the drivers installed (and that is the challenge which you and others are experiencing). Just hang in there, reinstall Vista temporarily, and try XP one more time.
