Hey guys, I need to buy a kid a xmas present, but the price of the notebook is no object. He wants something like the Toshiba PRO M10, but I'd like to get him the latest and greatest. One issue is the weight of the notebook, I would like it to be as light as possible as he takes it to school on the bus alot. I would like to stick to Toshiba, but if you guys know of something better please let me know. What would you recommend?

If price isn't an issue you can't beat the top of the line offerings from IBM. Great build quality and performance.
