    Need to replace 2200bg mini in Toshiba

    My sisters machine (Toshiba M45) is constantly having problems. I've searched on here and tried everything. Drivers to setting to firmware. I just want to replace it with an Atheros card if possible. Anybody know of an Atheros card that fits and works with these machines? I have one in my Asus and I love it. Would like to put the same type in hers.

    It possible!!! I had old toshiba Satellite Pro 6100 with Agere miniPCI wireless card and I successfuly changed it with Atheros card.
    IMO it can work with M45 as well.

    Thanks Skywalker. Ya its working now but I the signal strength on hers machine and speed is much slower than my machine with the Atheros with both of them in the same room. Of course I'm not going to tell her that. She is just happy it is working again. If she has more problems pop up, I'll do the change. Thanks again.
