    New Toshiba need drivers for XP

    Hi i buy a new Toshiba A205-S4777, with windows vista, but as we know not all the programs run in vista.

    I want to format the pc, but i need some drivers:

    My HDD is MK2035GSS ATA, with controller
    Intel(R) ICH8M SATA AHCI Controller - 2829
    Intel(R) ICH8M Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 2850

    Mobile Intel(R) PM965/GM965/GL960 Express Processor to DRAM Controller - 2A00

    and in toshiba web support onle has a drivers for windows vista. how cani do ??

    HELP !!!!

    K, I am going to help you out a little, for the SATA drivers for the F6 option I used the same SATA drivers from this page:

    I was able to get my Toshiba Satillite U300 to load Windows XP.

    If you are in the U.S., go to the Toshiba US site and download and print out the complete spec sheets on your Toshiba. Then go to this site..Toshiba UK....

    Search through ALL the units there and find the one that exactly matches your machine. It will most likely have a similar name. Go through the support and download section for that unit and you will most likely find all the XP drivers for your unit plus installation instructions to install them.
