    The new X305s (706 and 708) sound awesome, but when will they be available worldwide (and even if)? And we need reviews, there is almost no mentions on the forums.

    I'm guessing part of the reason is because it's only available in the US right now and only through Toshiba direct (online/phone). I'd like to see the 706 in a brick-and-mortar shop.

    I'm actually getting quite sick of walking into Best Buy and Circuit City these days. All they have on display are whimsy $600-$1200 laptops that can barely run 3dmark06. Where the hell have all the high-performance laptops gone???

    A 706 with a P9500 would be really good indeed. The only real alternative is Alienware M17, and if i learn that X305 will be hard to get or anything, i will order one.

    I have a x305 and ordered a M17.
