    Hey guys,

I was just surfing the abysmal Best Buy website when I stumbled upon this:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8913232&type=product&id=1213399955032

It is the new X305 with the 9800M GTX for $2199. I wish I could get rid of my X205 for this baby! Looks like you won't be able to order it for another few weeks but I wanted to bring it up for people who didn't know about the higher-end configuration.

Probably still the 9800M GTX as it says in the description ".......up to 1GB GDDR3 discrete memory..." which I am guessing they are also counting and adding approx. 512MB of Shared System memory. Hope this helps. God Bless :)

Ya its probably the GTX it seems they skimped on some other things to bring the price down like 3 gigs of ram and no 64 bit OS 2x160gig drives compared to the cheaper model which has 4gigs of ram and 64bit vista 1x200gig 7200 rpm drive . The GTX is whats driving the price of that machine up to 2199.00 but its still very nice specs wise especially when most people are only worried about one thing and thats the video card :). im keeping my eye on it and may have to snag one eventually if it gos on sale.

It would have been nice if they had come out with a plainer Satellite X305 that wasn't such a wierd shape and actually had some key features like 6 USB ports and a CD drive that ejects out of the side instead of in the front. I would rather have my audio jacks back in the front and the CD drive on the side like my X205 is right now. Just my opinion.
