They did it again. While I was waiting on my P100-ST9012 to ship next week, they snuck in the new version of their gaming notebook P105-S9312 on their website. They threw in everything but a speedy hard drive and even an internal bluetooth. I compared the spec sheet between the two (P100-ST9012 and the P105-S9312) and found minor differences. Other than the obvious (the new P105-9312 has a faster CPU, more and faster ram, much bigger but slower HD) the P100-ST9012 does have a Gigabit Ethernet (instead of 10/100 Base TX Ethernet) and an infrared port. I have cancelled my order from Toshiba direct for the P100 and decided to wait for Amazon.com to get the P105-S9312 in stock. Money I would save from not having to pay the sales tax and the $150 rebate from Amazon is more then enough for me to get the new P105 (not to mention all the other boosts in power). Who knows, while I wait for this one maybe Toshiba may surprise me with a new merom based notebook with everything I wanted.![]()

I think P100-ST9012 is a better choice as it comes with 512mb 7900gtx video card as opposed to 256mb 7800 on p105.

True that P100 has the 512mb 7900GTX instead of the 256mb 7900GS, but it doesn't come with the T2500 Duo or 2 Gigs of 667mhz ram or the 200 Gig 4200rpm harddrive (T2400, 1 Gig of 533 mhz and 80 Gig of harddrive at 5400 rpm). Also, you can get the P105 from Amazon.com, where you don't need to pay the state sales tax, free shipping and the $150 rebate. I think that tips the scale toward the P105 just a little bit. On top of that I think Amazon has better return policy then the Toshiba Direct.
New and much improved P105-9312
