This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Hi,

    I'm looking at purchasing a Toshiba 17" Satellite P305D-S8995E Laptop. The price is $598 and the Laptop will be used for logging onto my work Desktop from home using a wireless router in my home.

    I gave myself a budget of $650, and this Laptop seems to give me more functionality than I'd ever need.

    The site reviews where I'm considering the purchase are great, but you never know how real those reviews are.

    Do you guys have any thoughs on this Laptop?
