Hi Everyone. Happy New Years!! I thought I would introduce myself. I am Ryan. I live in Canada and I received a Toshiba L300D-028 for Christmas as a gift. Details here - http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/prodd...9A03FC85&sku_id=0926INGFS10111648&catid=25253

I am really loving it as I got it on sale, regularly 699.99 but I got it for 599.99 then my dad got half off from his work, then I paid 300.00 towards it. In total, I am really loving the laptop as I can play Counter-strike 1.6 and a few others and run my MSN. The laptop I find is built well. My only downside is that the battery alone lasts around 1 and a half hour..but thats alright since I usually keep it plugged in. Besides that, I am loving it as I use this laptop daily. When I got it, I was really un-sure about using Windows Vista on this laptop as I was actually considering changing over to XP in the first day. I booted up the system, got it setup and I just found Vista amazing. I find that Vista is more secure than XP.I wanted to update my graphics card drivers. I did so. I removed the software relating to ATI and Vista instantly picked up that a file had been removed and it instantly started downloading them right back to the corrected folder again. It really only took me a few days to get used to Vista. My computer also came with a free subscription of Norton 360..Really un-sure of Norton also as I am a McAfee user. However, I booted up Norton, I got it working and I am quite happy with it. Overall, I am very happy with this laptop and I think I would recommend it to anyone in my family or any friend if they are looking for a daily-use some gaming computer..In the end, I am very satisfied with this product. Well built protuct by Toshiba.

Anyways, I hope this forum comes in handy incase if I ever run into any situations. Thanks guys.

    Ryan
