I just picked-up a Toshiba P75-A7200 with Windows 8. The guy that gave it to me said if I could fix it, I could have it. I couldn't pass it up. The problem with it is that it will not boot up. As soon as I turn it on, it reads: "No bootable device--please restart system." It does not respond to the F8, F10 or F12 command when I turn it on. I can tackle most computer problems, but I am not a professional. I'm not sure where to start with this problem, can someone offer some advice?

Have you tried putting in a bootable CD/DVD?
