    Hi

Ive had six toshibas over the years and have always been pleased. Until this!
I got the A135-S4527 and had to downgrade to Windows XP for work. Thanks to all the help and advice I found on this forum I got everything pretty much up and running after a lot of work........

But then 2 weeks later it developed a sound issue. A hiss and crackle static noise comes from the headphone output all time, even when booting....ive tried changing audio drivers to no avail.....the speakers are OK so I think the soundcard is not shot.......

Id be really grateful for any help or advice. Thanks!

I had the same issue but it only seemed to occur when I was plugged to a power source. With battery only it never showed the symptoms. Still not happy with it but at least I don't have to deal with it while traveling.
