    Hi,
Unfortunately i flashed after some time the new 2.20 BIOS from TOSHIBA for the L650-1MT PSK1JE notebook.
All my modded BIOSes i could flash without any problem but this time i flashed the newest official BIOS for dumping it the PC froze and the
Result is ---> A DEAD notebook or better said 650 Euro Plastic.
I tried already recovering the BIOS with:
    • Fn + F ( Then Power) = Blinking Power LED, when i stop holding Fn + F it blinks even faster
    • Fn + B = nothing
    • Fn + Esc = nothing

I noticed that its only reading CD´s but no USB flash sticks/ thumbdrives  . I did already try this filenames ( all burned on one CD):

Andyp´s Phoenix Tool sais BIOS.fd is the recovery filename :( but it isnt working...
I tried holding Fn + F, the laptop power led blinks, after 1 minute it shuts down; i think it is deleting the EEPROM ( is it EEPROM?)
Then it powers on itself again  and perhaps its searching now for the BIOS.fd file ( the led isn´t blinking if i stop holding F before it reboots)

Has anyone some ideas or knows how to reflash the bios????
Some help would be great! I think Fn + F is recovery mode but idk how to use it!!!!

    1. disconnect your power cabel.
    2. also disconnect ur battery.( for me it required opening back panel and
    disconnecting it)
    3. now press and hold power button for 1 min.
    4. now reconnect ur battery and press the power button.

Someone on MDL said i should also pay attention on the speeling etc. of the recovery file. I reopened the .fd file with the phoenix tool and found out that it has to be written this way: Bios.fd not BIOS.fd.
But still no success with recovering...

Try this, i've found it over the net:

    1) Put out the battery

    2) Unplug all the stuff from your computer, keep only the USB flash drive with the recovery bios file (BIOS.fd or Bios.fd)

    3) Push power button for 10 seconds

    4) While hitting Fn+F, plug AC power (don't release the keys until step 6)

    5) Power on the computer

    6) Release the keys, the computer reads the usb to load the BIOS image

    7) Let the BIOS restore do all it has to for 5 to 10 minutes, the computer will automatically reboot after it's done
