Hi all, I have an old Toshiba Qosmio X775-3DV78.
Still working pretty decent, despite the battery have died again for the 2nd time (Working on power supply).

But because it is using Windows 10 now, some required software probably dont work as intended.
E.g. The top touch panel, not all the buttons work now.

Any recommendation of what to do with this old laptop to improve it?
It can still do basic things pretty well. Just cannot play heavy game anymore.

    Thanks.

Best you can hope for is to install the biggest SSD you can find, do a clean install of windows, and put fresh thermal paste on the CPU and GPU.

Upgrading to an SSD and 16GB of ram are probably the best and cheapest upgrades you can do. I picked up an SSD for my ancient HP for only ~$20 at Best Buy. You could upgrade to an i7-2860QM and get ~25% better CPU performance but that's kind of pricey(~$120) and probably a hassle to disassemble and upgrade.
