    I'm going to get a gaming notebook and the Toshiba Qosmio X305/X500 is one of those on my list and I would like to get some info and advices about them.

    What are the differences between them?

    Is the X305 not suitable for moving around from time to time?

    Does the X305 have issues?

    Should I get the X305 or wait for the X500?

    The major difference:
    X500 got a bigger screen (18.4), X305 got a 17" screen.
    "Standard" X305 comes with GeForce 9700 GTS, all X500 models comes with a GeForce GTS 250 and comes with the new Intel i7, X305 comes with Intel core 2 duo p7350, or higher, even a quad core extreme.

    If you don't want to wait you can go for 300-13o :)
    With; T9600, 9800M GTX (1GB video Memory), 4GB DDR3 1066Mhz RAM ect.!
    Check my signature, SSD is not included btw...

    X500 looks cool. They have gotten the mix of class and flash just perfect in my opinion. The red and black combo look much better than for example a MSI GT725 which just looks stupid.

    I would consider buying one if they kept the price reasonable in Europe.
