We have a Satellite P100-160 (Core 2 Duo - Vista Home Premium). As Vista doesn't work with our DSL modem along with some of our software we have had to downgrade to XP. However, we are having trouble finding the audio driver.

All I know is that there is no XP driver on the Toshiba website. That the Vista driver can be installed by force, but then you will get no sound from it. Toshiba tells us that we should buy a machine that has XP on it not Vista (very helpful!) and that the chipset is Conexant.

Anyone got any ideas on how we can get the sound working on XP? Toshiba aren't looking very good at the moment!
