Should I go with the A200 with the Radeon ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 2600 or the X205 with the Geforce 8700m GT? The P200 seems a bit cheaper but is there a big difference in the Graphics quality of these two machines?

Yes. The 8700M GT is a significantly better GPU than the HD 2600. For a comparison, see the following:

    HD 2600: http://www.notebookcheck.net/ATI-Mobility-Radeon-HD-2600.3771.0.html

What about with regards to DX10? Does the Nvidia card still have the edge?

    Thanks!

I think it does, but without a definitive DX10 benchmark, it's hard to tell. I'm getting Bioshock when it comes out tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes on the 8700M

More likely than not. Both GPUs meet the DirectX 10 requirements, so everything else being equal, the NVidia would probably still have the edge in large part because it has the extra dedicated memory (the HD 2600 appears to have no more than 256MB dedicated memory at most, the 8700M GT, higher version, has 512MB). The 8700M GT also has a higher core speed and a higher memory speed than the HD 2600.

That being said, however, nothing really counts except actual performance, so the actual verdict will depend on that.

FWIW, an earlier discussion on the gaming subforum can be found here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=133421

Just so you know... the 8700 is a killer OC card...
    775/938 OC (from 625/700) produces 5194 3dmark06 at 1280x1024!

The only annoying part is finding drivers that OC and do well in DX10.

Also I'm not sure about the P200 but my X205 runs extremely quiet and cool during gaming.

The 8700M GT will slaughter the HD 2600.
