I've always thought I'd buy either an HP or Dell 17-inch laptop with an Intel Core 2 Duo. I've configured what I like and it runs from $1400-1800.
Just saw this BF deal at Best Buy and would like opinions of Toshiba owners. Should I jump on this or just pay more for HP or Dell? What are the downsides to this computer? Is Toshiba reliable?

It has 1.5GHz CPU and 64MB of VRAM. Not quite high end stuff. I would recommend waiting.

Thanks for the reply. I think I will wait and order what I want rather than feeling the BF pressure to buy something preconfigured. I've also been considering the Dell Latitude XT tablet, but haven't seen much about it yet.
