Does anyone have any info (links or otherwise) to compare how using only integrated graphics vs using GT 740M would effect battery life?
Toshiba rates the P50 model at 4.5 hours but that depends on the configuration.

Yes I too would like to know this. One thing to remember they have the i5 4200 dual core haswell which is a 15 watt and then they jump up to the quad which takes more then 2X that amount. I just ordered the i5 system with integrated hoping that it would hit the 5 hour mark or more. But I just cancelled order because of their stupid 15 percent restock fee on custom builds and I felt the non SSD drives they offer would disappoint. No I knew they would being I use nothing but SSD now. The other issue with the P 50 is the small 4300 wa battery. If you get the quad core I seriously doubt you will get more then 3.5 hours. If you get the GT 740M things will get even worse for battery life. The two achilles heals of the P50 is small battery and no SSD. Other then that, It could be the perfect system. If you manage to upgrade to SSD yourself, and get the i5 you should be able to hit the 5 hour mark. But then, I'm just guessing no facts to base that on.
