    Hey guys officially started using my P745 today after having it in the box for awhile.

    I still cant get over how dim and poor the screen is but the speakers are nice. The laptop itself feels well built and sturdy.

    For me it was a toss up between this and the R835-P70. Ultimately I chose this because it had more ram 6gb vs 4gb on the Portege. Plus its great speakers were a huge selling point. However, the screen has me weeping.

    Im coming from a Dell XPS and a Sony Vaio so im used to crisp, vivid screens this cheap screen looks as if it belongs in a netbook. Then again ive seen netbooks with better screens.

    So how is everyone and theirs doing.
