    SOLVED- see post #4

    P875-S7102
    Centrino N2200
Windows 8.1 all up to date

Several times an hour Internet Explorer/Firefox will suddenly say "page cannot be displayed". Look down at the Network icon and says "Connected to [my wifi] - No Internet". Usually wait 30 seconds and it goes back to "Connected to [my wifi] - Internet Access". Sometimes have to disable/enable adapter or reboot the laptop.

The wifi signal is strong. Laptop is 15 feet from router. Wifi is not dropping because icon in taskbar says connected. Also other laptop right next to it is not having any issues at all, none whatsoever, never.

Tried turning Intel Pro Set off/on let Windows control Wifi.
Tried uninstall Pro Set program / only drivers.
Tried uninstall Intel drivers / use Windows default drivers.
Tried latest Intel driver/software direct from Intel site.
Tried older driver direct from Toshiba site.
Tried changing adapter settings like roaming agressive, etc.

This is NOT a virus / malware issue. Please don't suggest that I run a bunch virus scans.

Is this a Windows 8.1 problem?
    Is this a drive problem?
Is this a hardware issue in the laptop?
Should I replace the N2200 module with something else?

Update- it's working! I tried two new routers and settled on TP Link Archer C8, but what I think solved the issue is installing ALL optional windows updates and especially optional update KB3000850.
