    PLEASE HELP MY TOSHIBA going to bluescreen n restart computer

    I erase every data on my toshiba laptop, and i used the secon disc to recover data.

    after i install everything, i been having problem. it says that my toshiba laptop has detected a problem and i need to restart my computer

    its a blue screen that restart my computer automaticly

    here is the problem:

    techinical problem

    please help i can't sleep because of this!!!

    Here's a long thread about these errors.

    It is unclear to me whether you are getting this error during installation of vista or after you have completed the installation. If the problem is during installation then you should test the memory using Memtest86 (which is available on a Ubuntu Linux Live CD). If the problem is after installation then try booting in Safe Mode (press F8 just as Windows starts to load). Safe Mode doesn't install most of the drivers, which may be causing the problem. Or you can try booting off a Linux Live CD. If that works then we know the problem is in Vista.

    it was during the final configuration!!!

    after that everything gone bad....

    when i check online for solution, it says that it was vista and i have to download pack1 32, n i did. but before i get to install it, the bluescreen appeared. then it started restarting over n over

    ty for the help, i appreciated it.

    where do i get that cd?

    You can get the Ubuntu Live CD here. Download the ISO file and burn it to CD.

    I wonder if Vista has installed the wrong driver for something. Are you able to get into Safe Mode? Keep poking the F8 key as the computer boots.

    Yes i am able to go to safe mode, it only restart when I'm in normal mode. ever thing was ok until the final configuration installation. it suddenly went to the blue screen and keep on restarting my comp.

    i went to repair computer and check my memory. it seems like there is nothing wrong with the memory
