Anyway its been going swimmingly with my P100 so far, but this summer since I had free time I started to play some games on the P100. I have sweaty hands, and so the paint on the left palm started to wear off. Now there is a gray crescent shaped spot on my laptop. I was wondering if I could complain to Toshiba about this, and have them fix it. I have an extended 3 year warranty, so maybe it covers this?
anyone else have this problem btw?

My guess would be the first words out of their mouth would be "Wear and Tear."
I guess it depends on how long you have had it. If this started happening right away then I would insist on either a new system or my money back.
If it's been several months then you might have a harder time.
You best bet would be to just call them up, sound outraged that the paint is wearing off already and see what they do. -
Toshiba wont cover it so dont even bother nagging at them. They wont even fix cracks on the back of your screen cover because they dont cover anything cosmetic.

Experienced this on the sticky-out part of the lid on my old portege which rubbed on the laptop bag.
I'm surprised they haven't rectified this and/or changed their materials! -
i am going to try calling them this weekend, we'll see what happens

The good thing: at least now they cant say that they have not heard of this before
