Hi, I recently posted two threads, where my secure router connection won't stay connected after the computer takes even a short nap, such as max battery save mode. Unsecure stays connected however. Also, I recently bought a wireless laptop mouse, and same problem, sometimes it comes back on after about minute after waking the laptop, other times I have to hit the connect buttons on both the mouse and it's USB dongle.

I'm thinking now it's the laptop, not my router or it's configuration, or the mouse. What settings should I check for on the laptop which may be disconnecting things when it sleeps or goes into power saving mode? Thanks.

Like I've mentioned in my responses to your other threads, I have removed all of the excess Toshiba software that was shipped with my system (M115 S3094) I have had no problems whatsover with my wireless mouse not functioning after waking the system up from sleep.

Thanks much bchreng, I'll give this a try. Did you have problems before you removed Toshiba's software, I can't remember if you said you did, or did you remove it due to "bloat"?

What else should I remove, as I want to make sure i remove the right stuff. I know ConfigFree must go, as well as Toshiba's power-saving program, as you staed in my other thread, what else? You also stated "If Toshiba shipped the system with any sort of display program (other than the toggle switch on the keyboard), I have long since removed it.", anything I should look for there to remove, if you do remember?

    Thanks much again.

Mouse works, I found out I have to press the left mouse button to wake the mouse coming out of Standby mode on the laptop.
