I cannot find any info on the medial buttons beyond mapping. I have re-mapped my internet and media player button without a problem. I have mapped my media button to itunes for example. When iTunes is playing in the background I cannot use the play, pause, stop, fwd, rwd without iTunes bringing it to the foreground.

Another problem is when using a program like VLC player the play, pause, stop, fwd, rwd buttons will not work. I have used multiple laptops that similar buttons function with most other programs.

    Any solutions?
    Thanks.

It is only made for Windows Media Player or Center.
I believe there is no way to correct that.
