Not quite sure how to word this question so let me tell what I am thinking of and if you would tell me if it is going to be next to impossible to do or what.
After so many ongoing battles with my new desktop OS (Vista) I am seriously thinking of the laptop I want to get for work to have XP on it.
BIG questions: Are there any particular models by Toshiba in the last 2-3 years which came with XP, and the restore disk, which would be easy to upgrade RAM so it wouldn't be too terribly slow.
Of course the next problem is how to find a pristine one in my price range.

I'd get a Lenova Thinkpad if I had it to do over again. I've loved my past 3, and as a business PC, they still over XP on many machines I think. It won't be a gaming machine, but there are plenty of performance options.

I like my Toshiba, but I've spent tons of hours getting XP to work, and even now that I have all of the drivers, I still dread doing a clean install again.

    Thank you for the input.
As of now things have already changed a bit. My office is sticking with desktops it looks like. I will still want something for work, but will not need intense spreadsheets. Just want nice graphics for digital image display, the usual Office 2007 stuff and ability for WiFi email, etc.
With those being the new parameters, would you probablys till go for the Lenovo?
