    A message appeared here on 20 August 2007 where someone called gregers managed to boot a Portege 2000 using a PCMCIA Compact Flash adapter with a 2GB CF card.

    As far as I understand, this slot is very particular about what it boots from. I can only boot a Toshiba HD from this slot - and this is very slow. What make of adapter/CF card will boot from this slot?
