    Hello,
Can anyone tell me the differences between the R200 and R205?

I've been searching online, and they seem to be used interchangably, or the R205 has a longer battery life.

It also seems as though some models of R200 are faster (1.3 ghz vs. 1.2) then the R205, but that seems counterintuitive.

And what really is the battery life on these laptops on wireless and full screen brightness?

    Thanks!

I think the Portege R200 is customizable, while the R205 is pre-configured. Other than that, the two are near identical.

Generally the models ending in zero are available from the Toshiba direct resellers. The "05" models are distributed through the retail outlets. Otherwise they are the same machines (the zeros perhaps customizable).
