    Hello all,

I love my Tosh R705-P42 it is light and easily carried with good performance, everything is good but the screen! If you are even a little off the "sweet spot" for viewing, Oh Boy! forget about it! If I could install a beautiful screen like the IPS one in the Lenovo X220 I would be so happy!

Here are the stock Toshiba PORTEGE R705-P42 screen specs:

    WIDTH 306MM
    Size: 13.3-inch WideScreen (11.3"x7.1")
    Resolution: WXGA (1366x768)
    Backlight type: LED
Video signal connector: 40 pin LED socket

Does anyone know of a replacement screen that would fill the bill? Finding a quality display in a laptop has been the most difficult part of buying at the consumer level (for me).

Thanks for any ideas you may offer.
