This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     This time, I bought a LCD cable from a r845 which supports 1600x900 screens...

    The connector at the motherboard... is 20 pin :mad:

    End of story for 1600x900 LCDs. Also the LCD is a "slim" LCD with NO mounts. Its simply shockmounted in the display assembly.

    It WILL support some better 1366x768 LCDs though, namely the sony Z LCDs I think which should be better quality. Problem is on many websites you'l only get a "compatible" screen which may not be better quality.
