    Hi everyone:

I've had my M50 for about 2 months and so far it's been great, however, lately, I've noticed that I can't turn my M50 on. I'll press the power button, the light comes on, all the lights on the front of the M50 come on, but the screen stays blank and I can't shut it off. The only way to get it to shut off is to take the battery out and then put it back in. When I try to start it after this, it works no problem. This has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

I know it's not a big deal, but It really pissed off my wife when she tried to use it at school and it wouldn't turn on.

If anyone has any ideas on what this could be, I'd be eternally grateful.

    Thanks.

If you hold the power button down for five or so seconds it will turn off. Do you hear the fan or hard drive spinning? If you can hook it up to an external screen to see if lcd connector or something is loose.
