    Pre-install software?

    So I am in the process of getting rib off all those junk programs that was install on my Tohsiba.

    Just wonder all those program starting with Toshiba can they be uninstall as well (such as Toshiba Assist Bulletin board configfree........) I was actually thinking of getting rib of them all or even install a fresh copay of Win7 (got the unimate version laying around so mind as well use it).

    If you do a fresh install, make sure you head over the Toshiba's support website and grab the drivers for the "Fn" keys on your laptop.

    I did the same:

    Install Windows7, download all the neccessary driver ( and TOSHIBA common device), install them.

    Unfortunatley you will need common device driver becuase its the basic information for all Fn button(s).

    ^^ thx for the input. I have no idea why they even bother with those bloatware lol. I uninstall most of them and the laptop runs a lot faster now.

    i did the same but had to pop the software back on for the Fn keys as missed the OSD for them!
