I bought a configed P100 about month ago. So far no more problems, but when i upgraded to Windows XP PRO my DVD SuperMulti drive (+/-R Double Layer) turned into a plain DVD/CD-Rom drive. Can somone help me fix this problem, thank you.

You probubly have the incorrect drivers loaded. Try going to the manufactures website and downloading the drivers.

I would try a reinstall of the original drivers, or go and look and see if you can find a P100 model config. with a DVD burner and XP Pro.

Have you installed all of the drivers properly? Try here and there should be links by model in the support and downloads section to all the right drivers. Also, try putting in various media and seeing what happens, sometimes drives can get confused!
