Hello all, this is an old problem but i haven't been able to fix it yet. I have an old A100-906 toshiba laptop, 3-4 years old.A few days ago, the screen stopped working. I know that it is not a graphics card issue because as soon as i connect the laptop to another monitor everything is displayed perfectly. Also, if i take i close look at the laptop's screen, it is lid up but nothing is displayed. Any help is appreciated because i really cant afford a new one right now!

You might want to try taking apart the notebook and re-seating the LVDS cable that goes from the screen to the motherboard.
