I've had my Tecra A10 notebook for about a year and a half now. I've had a problem for a while where every once in a while Windows Explorer will seemingly randomly stop responding, and I need to either repeatedly restart the program or just reboot the whole computer. It's a real pain. Recently I've noticed that it has to do with the volume control knob; sometimes when I try to change the volume with it, it just causes Windows Explorer to stop working. I gather I'm not the only person who has this problem but I can't find a satisfactory answer online. Can anyone help? I'm running Vista and I have 2 gigs of RAM, it shouldn't be a memory problem because it happens even when I'm not running any programs.
