I have got a Toshiba a200-1mb with winxp and... a big problem. My microphone fails to work (the mic properties are grey and inactive in the control panel). I have tried multiple audio drivers recommended by Toshiba ( http://ce.computers.toshiba-europe....ctPage.do?LNG=20&service=CE&PRODUCT_ID=132071) as well as by Realtek ( http://www.download.net.pl/d7838/Re...-Windows-98SE-ME-2000-XP-2003-XP-64-Pobierz/). but I have had no effect
I am sure the microphone is not corrupt as it works with Vista. But... my Vista crashed so I have installed winxp and all the appropriate drivers. Everything is ok now except the microphone (what is more - the speakers work perfectly!). I have even upgraded my bios up to v5.20- no effect. I've been searching for a solution on different forums but I've had no advice. Is this problem resolvable at all? I will be grateful for any help or... for a driver that is being used successfully by somenody on the same laptop model as mine.
