    Howdy guys,

Bought a Tecra M2 just over a year ago and to date have had to replace 3 hard drives, all manufacture faults (bad sectors).

Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

Were they all the same brand/model? It's not uncommon for particular batches to have a run of issues. It would be really strange for three different types of drives though.

I would assume so, though I dont know for sure. The people at the tech support said they have had problems with these hard drives before, though they dont run smart diagnostics to check them before they put them in?

They have replaced it recently (again) and are suggesting that when it fails again that they will install shock sensors to see (basically) if its because Im bashing it around. I was a bit offended by this :\

When I called consumer complaints though they said they had problems with another computer of this model as well as another toshiba, which is why I was asking if anyone else had had the same problems...
