    Processor info

    I recently used my system recovery disc to reinstall everything and now i'm showing 2 processors in my device manager and system info shows ACPI multiprocessor PC. anyone know how to correct this?

    That's becuase you have hyperthreading (HT). You don't physically have 2 processors or 2 cores. The second processor that you see is a "logical processor".

    So this is perfectly normal

    Exactly - HT enables a second "virtual" CPU, which the OS recognizes as a second CPU.
