Hi guys i have satellite x205-S9349
as you know it equiped with 8700 GT
i read it can be easily o'clocked

Standart rates watching with riva tuner was 625core/700memory
i oclocked to 677core/826memory/ temp only 62'C and 3Dmark06 skore chaged +11% i think good start.

But i want to ask, when i'm trying to see temperature, and clocks speed after quiting playing fallout3 or far cry2 . it shows me that i have now 729core/828memory 63'C ,but then drops to 2d mode.

is it normal that clock are higher then i set it ???

Rivatuner does do this, I noticed it on my 8600m gt on my old laptop that the clocks were appearing higher than they should be. Might just be a missreading by the program.
As for going to 2D mode that is what will happen due to powermizer so it uses less power, It will go back to 3D clocks when you start another game up

Your memory should go higher, my 8600M GT SLi setup with DDR3 will take almost 900Mhz memory clocks.

I wouldn't dare overclocking mine, it runs at about 105celsius when running warhead, when i use a cooling pad it averages around 90celsius.
