My Q850, Win7 would not shut down when there is a SD memory card plugged in the slot.

I have repeatedly encountered this; at first I thought the recent Win7 update trashed it but I realized the SD LED indicator and finally pulled it and it shutdown properly now.

I wonder if this is an Isolated case...

What do you mean it doesn't shut down? does it say closing programs, an error comes up and says windows can't shut down or what?

Yes, there may be a service running that can't be closed while you an SD card in.

Anyway, what trouble is it to just take out an SD card each time you shut down the notebook?
