Hello all,
I was debating on whether to put this thread under the software heading, or under Toshiba. But since it deals specifically with a Toshiba notebook question, I figure this was the place to put this.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tried to install a Linux distro on their Qosmio. My laptop is a Qosmio F10, and I was just wondering how difficult it would be for a relative Linux noob to fix up. From what I understand notebooks are generally more difficult to configure properly with Linux. Any comments, suggestions?
Thanks,
- John

Depends on the distro, at some level.
I think that Ubuntu is pretty user friendly, easy to install, and great with hardware compatibility. It's worth trying out the Live CD to see is everything works or not, hardware wise, and to test out the GUI to see if you like it.
I might have forgotten what it is to be a nOOb.
