So I've had my Toshiba for just over 3 years now (figures now the warranty is up) but i think theres something wrong with the video card. The screen tends to flicker. Kind of like squinting your eyes. I never loose the feed, but it dims for a second and comes back rapidly over and over, then its fine. sometimes when i tap on the unit, sometimes when its on a table thats not moving. I got it into a repair shop before the warranty was up and he did a "video reset" as he called it. Basically he said he unplugged the video card and plugged it back in. Because according to him it sounded like a loose connection. What do you suggest I do?

    Check the LCD cable.

Have you used an external monitor? Does it work properly on that?
